Locating surcharge-free ATMs with your new GBC Bank Visa Debit Card

GBC Bank has teamed up with Visa to provide your new debit card with more financial tools and benefits. With your new Visa debit card, you can use it surcharge-free at various ATMs across the country. Many of these ATM locations are at select GetGo, Costco, Target, CVS and Walgreen stores. And as always, you can continue to use your debit card surcharge-free at all GBC Bank ATMs.

Visa's ATM locator website let's you search for ATMs near you. To find a surcharge-free ATM, simply add the Plus Alliance ATMs (U.S. only) filter to the search. The map will now show only surcharge-free ATMs.

You can type a City, Zip code or full address to find surcharge-free ATMs where you are, on your route or close to your destination.

While you can use any Plus ATM, only the Plus Alliance ATMs are surcharge-free! Watch for the Plus Alliance logo.

The card is accepted everywhere Visa^® is accepted and utilizes the latest EMV secure technology. But remember, it's not a credit card. Payments for purchases will be deducted directly from your checking account and will appear on your monthly statement.

Fraud Center

Trying to keep on top of debit card fraud is on-going and very challenging. In addition to and separate from MyCardRules, we utilize our Fraud Center to contact our cardholders as quickly & effectively as possible when potential fraud occurs.

Text alerts are now 24/7. The customer response for text and email is simply a “Yes” or “No” to indicate the legitimacy of the transaction in question. The fraud system works most efficiently if you respond to the automated system. If no response is received your debit card will be blocked.

Planning to travel and use your GBC Debit Card? Did you know that a few precautionary measures taken before you travel can reduce the chances of fraudulent activity on your account? If you plan to travel and use your Debit Card please contact us with your current cell phone number and the location and duration of your travel. GBC’s Fraud Department monitors Debit Card transactions for suspicious or unusual activity. GBC will attempt to contact you, by text (24/7), email (24/7) or by cell phone (during normal business hours) if questionable transactions occur.
